If you answered yes to any of these questions, you're gonna want to spend this upcoming Saturday and Sunday at Twisted Rail Brewing Co. on Canandaigua Lake. FLX Wake and Mark's Leisure Time have teamed up to bring the community another great event that's sponsored by lots of local companies. Here's just a short list of what you can expect:
-- Wakeboarding and wakesurfing competitions with pro and amateur divisions (over $1,000 in prizes from Phase 5, Firewire Surfboards, Oakley, Herschel, and Banks Journal)
--Surf lessons run by Neon Wave on Saturday, perfect for beginners looking to learn how to surf
--The chance to bid on 200lbs of lead weight, being auctioned off by Lead Wake (all proceeds go to the Wounded Warrior Project)
--A glimpse at a Kraken Boardsports winch, set up to view with some cool features for wakeboard lovers to check out
You can register to compete at www.flx-wake.com/events. (Beginners are encouraged to give it their best shot in the Amateur division!) Otherwise, feel free to come on down, grab a beer, grab a bite, and take in the sunshine.
